Through defining strokes of his pen, Toronto artist Charles Weiss has created many humorous portraits at various venues in the area. One of the high points of his career was drawing caricatures at a Christmas party at the top of the CN Tower, the tallest structure in Canada. His work has appeared many times in a variety of national and provincial newspapers and magazines. The publisher of Country magazine says of his work, "Charles captures the country soul. " The art director of Ontario out of Doors compliments his illustrations, "I especially like his caricatures." His wildlife paintings have won awards and have helped raise money for the Canadian Peregrine foundation. Another medium Charles enjoys is wood carving, with sport fish being a favorite subject. Charles will liven up any party or gathering by drawing fun caricatures of you guests - they'll love it! |
